S.O.1673(E) 在行使2016年印度标准法第16条（2016年第11号）所赋予的权力时，在此替换于2020年2月19日印度公报发布的，特别报告，第二部分，第3节，2分节，编号S.O.756(E)的 2020年的钢铁和钢铁产品（质量控制）指令，除了关于在替换之前已经完成或省略的事情，中央政府在咨询标准局后，认为有必要为公共利益做出必要或权宜之计。 特此作出如下指令，即： -
1.简称，生效和应用 - （1）该指令可称为2020年钢及钢制品（质量控制）指令
（2）除本指令另有规定的以外，该指令在“政府公报”规定了生效日期。
（3）该指令适用于表1第（3）栏规定的钢铁产品及表2第2栏规定的货物和物品，符合外国买方要求的任何其他规范的出口钢铁产品除外.
2.符合标准和基本要求.-（a）表1第（3）栏规定的各钢铁产品应符合表格第（2）栏规定的相应印度标准，生效日期在第（5）栏中。
（b）不锈钢管应由表1第（3）栏规定的不锈钢制品制成，应符合本表第（2）栏规定的印度标准，打上标准标志，并应附有输入材料的测试报告。
（c）表2第（2）栏中规定的货物应符合上述表格第（3）栏规定的相应基本要求，出具根据印度标准(合格评定)局2018年《印度标准(合格评定)规例》附表- II -IV计划要求的合格证书。
3.强制使用标准标志--表1第(3)栏所列的每一种钢材和钢材产品，均应按照印度标准(合格评定)局《2018年印度标准(合格评定)规例》附表- II -计划- I的规定，在该局颁发的许可证下打上标准标记。
4.认证和执法机构.-标注局应是本指令中规定的钢铁产品，货物和物品的认证和执行机构。
5.违反处罚 - 任何违反本指令任何规定的人员应根据2016年印度标准法局的规定予以处罚。
6.印度标准中修正或修订的生效日期 - 本指令适用于标准局对表1中规定的任何印度标准的任何修正或修订，生效日期由标准局通过本署发出通知。
