1. Since February, 2012, all products in the regulatory catalogue to Tanzania require COC certification for customs clearance before shipment, and the application will not be reissued after shipment.
2. The Tanzanian COC is batch certificate and the cost is related to the FOB value of every cargo.
3. The procedures of Tanzanian COC are similar to Saudi Arabian SASO, Iraq COC, Syrian COC and Kuwait TIR, the papers audit and product inspection included. Some products have the sampling test.
4. Procedures:
1) Submit product test report (ECE,3C), packing list, proforma invoices and COC application sheet.
2) Institute audits papers, then follows the visual inspection of goods for checking the packing, marks of product.
3) The papers audit and goods inspection are both passed, the Tanzanian COC certificate for customs clearance is granted.
