Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals (DCPC) of Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers of India has arranged a meeting on April 22, 2019 to discuss the implementation of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) standard as mandatory for 17 chemical and 24 petrochemical products. Invited to the meeting are representatives from the related companies in the industries and manufacturers associations. The representatives were asked to provide relevant data regarding production, installed capacity, consumption, import, export, etc. The lists of chemicals and petrochemicals proposed to be discussed are below.
